Our Buffalo hunts are not just a hunt, they are an exciting event! Our package price is for one hunter and one non-hunter. However, we invite your entire family to join in on the hunt, or enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the lodge by the fireplace. We will dress, skin, quarter and hang your buffalo in our freezer. Your meat will be fully prepared for the ride home to your butcher. Average yields are approximately 350 to 400 lbs. but depend on the size of the buffalo you harvest.
Our buffalo are pure grass fed, and are in a natural grass setting where they have 4000 acres to roam. This makes for an exciting hunt. We may find them in the first hour of hunting, but it is more common to hunt a day just finding them.
No hunting license is required, and no expensive non-resident fees! Hunt buffalo year around, but ask us which months we recommend for the best hide quality.
Ask us for more information on our handicapped hunts!
Bow hunters, muzzleloader, sharps, large pistol, or modern rifle hunters are welcome on our buffalo hunts
Buffalo Nutritional Facts
Buffalo is an excellent red meat source low in fat, high in protein, rich in flavor. Research done by Dr. M. Marchello, University of North Dakota, has shown that buffalo is a highly nutrient-dense food because of the proportion of protein, fat, minerals and fatty acids to its caloric value. Comparisons also show that buffalo has a greater concentration of iron as well as some of the essential fatty acids.
